Holy Communion
Holy
Communion is celebrated every week.
All
are welcomed who are baptized and believe what the words of Jesus
say:
"Given and shed for you for the remission of sins....whoever believes
these
words has exactly what they say, forgiveness of sins."
(Small
Catechism)
Faith
Lutheran in concert with ELCA, welcomes ALL the baptised to the
Lord's table. Young children who have not received instruction are
welcome to come for a blessing with hands folded.
First
Communion preparation events for children 1st grade and older and their
parents are held every winter, with First Communion celebrated in
January. Children younger than 1st grade and their parents are invited
to contact Pastor Knox for their preparation and welcome.
